JETPILOT Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 I have popping that sounds like loose spring or broken part in the drivers seat back. It is not in the seat bottom or the rails; it is easily reproduced simply by pushing back on the cushion between the shoulder blades [upper middle of rear cushion]. I would take the back off the seat for a look if only I knew how. I don't see and screws or covers to remove. mehullica Posted September 7, 2005 Share Posted September 7, 2005 Simply grab the top part of the seatback and pull back. You'll see 2 white clips that snap over the seatback springs. lexuskid Posted September 28, 2005 Share Posted September 28, 2005 i have that same problem in my 05 rx330. what did you do? its very very very annoying as you are driving and you keep hearing the squeaking/popping sounds from the back. to get rid of it i just fold the seat down but in the long run people are going to sit in the back.
