sjc6765
Does anyone know where the traction control ecu is located on a '93 sc300? Thanks for any help.

sjc6765
I looked under the glove box, where the air filter is, and could not see any electronics. Do I have to remove the glove box to get to it?
damesta
Its down further than that under the carpet behind a black plastic cover, you have to pull back the carpet to get to it.
sjc6765
All I have there is the engine ecu and the abs ecu. Is there a seperate one for the traction control, or is it combined with the abs ecu?
damesta
Trac is controlled by 2 computers, the abs computer is the main control unit for the traction control but there is also a small trac computer behind the glove box, you will have to remove the glove box to get to that one. Sounds like you are guessing. I asked a straight forward question, this is the third place that I have been told to look. Maybe you should not respond if you don't know what you are talking about.
