you got to be more specific.

Is the Check Engine light on and you want to know why it is on?

OR

Is the buld that lights up the Check Engine Light (CEL) icon on the dash truely blown and you need to replace that bulb. For example, when you start the car or put the ignition in the ON position with the engine not running, the CEL is not illuminated?
