Freez 12 Or R-22 Instead Of R12?

Anyone know about using "freeze 12" or R-22, instead of R12 in a 91 Lexus? I have seen the Freeze 12 and R-22 on Ebay. Ads say you can use it as a replacment for r12. Anyone know the real information on this? Does it work. Can this be mixed with R12 or 134A, or does the system have to be filled with Freeze 12 only or r22 only?

Thanks for the info.

R22 is for house units. I don't think it will work in a car. The freeze 12 folks say it will substitute fine, but Lexus parts are awlfully expensive to experiment with.
