sunman Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 I am in the market for wheels for my 97ES 300. I want 16" rims. I have 15's now. 17's are too bumpy for my wife. Looking for a factory replacement from a Toyota or other Lexus vehicle. Any suggestions? Pictures would be great.
lexusk8 Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 How about the 9-spoke factory rims from the '02-'04 ES? Their size is 16" x 6.5", and fit perfect with my '01 ES. My original wheels are 16" x 6" and 3-spoke design, but I wanted a better look yet retain the original suspension and ride. It's working out well thus far :D
steviej Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 I concur with lexusk8 on the 9 spoke stock ES wheel. Another wheel I find very appealing from Lexus/Toyota is the 5 spoke that come with the platinum edition ES, it can also be seen on high end Avalons and Higlanders. (sorry, no pic to show). steviej
