New Rx330 Prices

Hi,

I'm considering an RX330 as my next car, probably next month some time. I've never bought from Lexus before and was wondering how flexible they are with their prices.

I've built to the spec I want on the Lexus website and the MSRP is showing as $43K, is that what I can expect to pay or am I going to be able to get a deal from a showroom?

What kind of a deal did you guys get if you bought yours new?

Thanks for any input

TX.

Lexus is roughly as flexible as Toyota although unlike Toyota, Lexus doesn't run newspaper ads showing the amount of discount that is possible.

However, you can get an idea of the amount of discount off the MSRP that is possible by using this website http://www.carsdirect.com/home to get email quotes from your local dealers.

If getting the maximum possible discount is your top priority no matter how far away the dealer is located, use http://www.carsdirect.com/home to get quotes from big metropolitan areas like Los Angeles. And the two largest dealers in Los Angeles are Longo Lexus of El Monte and Lexus of Westminter of Long Beach.

You can also bypass http://www.carsdirect.com/home and communicate directly with most Lexus dealers in the country via email. Many dealers have a salesperson that specializes in internet sales. Contact information for each dealer can be found at lexus.com

There was mention on an earlier thread that Longo Lexus in Los Angeles area is selling RX330's at around invoice. Your local dealer may or may not match that.

I was able to get ~10% off my RX-330 Thundercloud edition fairly easily once my dealer knew we were calling around to other dealerships in our state. Original MSRP was around 46k, got it for ~42 - loaded except for adjustable suspension, DVD entertainment system, tow kit and laser cruise system.

I wasnt able to get any discount from my Rx330, but they did throw in a free hitch in the back. (worth about $500) Now that the 2006 models are about to come out, u mite be able to get a few hundred to a thousand off.

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2005/lexus/rx33...195/prices.html At this site, u can see the true market value of the car u want with options (a little research) before u go to the dealership.
