99 4runner Cd/tape Deck On 2000 Gs300

I was wondering if anyone knew if the deck from a 99 4runner would use the same wiring harness of the gs300.

nothing in the world is compatible with the 98 up gs300. it is powered backwards through the amp and has no cd changer port on the radio. it is the most bizarre stereo set up ever. i dont underastand why toyota did it except it must be about money.no other model lexus stereo equipment is cross compatible. no other toyota or lexus headunits, amps, cd changers can be used on a gs. as far as using a fujitu or panasonic made toyota headunit they aRE MUCH LOWER QUALITY THAN THE PIONEER EQUIPMENT ON THE GS. ALSO THE DASH WOULD LOOK TERRIBLE WITH THE DASH LIGHTS NOT MATCHING AND THE ODD SHAPED HOLE TO FILL WITH THE DOUBLE DIN 4RUNNER RADIO.
