Bourne33065
Hi, I have a 93' SC400, and I was wondering how do I realign my water jets (the ones that clean the windshield)? The furthest left wasn't working at all, and then I just poked at the hole, and now it works but just sputters a little, and sometimes it works perfect. So I was wondering if any of you know how to fix them, or realign them, some tips would be GREAT!!!! Thanks!!
Labtec
i have the same problem with my '92 400. They used to work just fine.
JDOwen2
I have heard you can slip a credit card under the front and back of the washer and pop it off. I would then disconnect the hose and soak the jets in vinegar to dissolve the crud.
Sluggo
I was going to suggest vinegar as well. Maybe you could just fill the reservoir with vinegar (it's real cheap) and pump it through? Keep a towel over the jets so as not to spray your paint job - the vinegar won't hurt it but the schmutz it cleans out might.
axis8758
Or another idea is to use jets from a newer model Lexus.
bean_8044
Or just put a needle in the nozzle. Not very far in, at most 1/8 inch. With the needle in, you should be able to redirect the nozzles also
