92-96 Es 300 Cd Changers

Hi,

What are the benefits of using a 92-96 ES300 CD Changer in place of the 1st generation SC300/400 CD Changers? I've read that those are interchangeable and may potentially consider it in the future. I understand the ES have a 6 CD magazine while the SC has 12, which is not an issue fo rme.
