contrary to popular belief 2-din cd player mounting kits do exist for the 92-96 es300s. I found some on ebay. I wish I had known this before I spent all this money on an ipod and cables and stuff. :(

It is well known that metra makes the kit but never heard of it being able to accept 2 full din headunits

which would be mostly impossible as the lower part where the lower din would be is very shallow .

it has that insert that lets you have the pocket on the bottom or you take the insert out for the 2-din size

i bought that for $14 after shipping off ebay. Havent installed my alpine headunit yet though to where I would use it. It runs only off of amplifier power so its gunna take a while to hook-up.
