Dvd Sound Through Speakers

I can't find a way to have the DVD rear entertainment system play through the car speakers instead of through the wireless headphones. Can this be done? The DVD is the Lexus OEM system.

while plying the DVD just cycle through the various modes on the sound system - DVD will be an option

press the CD button til you see AUX and it will play the DVD sound through the speakers.

It works great, just press the button labeled "disc" on the sound system head unit..it cycles between the CD changer and the DVD player. I listen to movies on DVD all the time on long trips while driving.

Hi guys, I've tried doing this several times on my RX400h but it doesn't work. The ML doesn't seem to recognise any sort of input from the DVD unit at the back??? :cries:

I have an '03 without the Nav option, just CD/Cassette. I'm able to get the RSES to play a dvd and play audio through the headphones. I want to play the audio through the car speakers. All of the answers I've been able to find are for the ML system with Nav and pressing the DVD button. I don't have a DVD button. Any help would be appreciated.
