SnesleyWipes Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Wanted to get some expert opinions on this...would a cold air intake on my 92 ES create more noise? I kinda like the smooth purrr of my engine, especially after my induction service and rigorous oil changes. I've heard from other car manufacturer owners that their intake makes the car louder. Is this true? Anyone have on on their ES? One other thing, is there a significant increase in power and gas mileage thats noticable? Thank you in advance, Snes
steviej Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 yes they will change/increase the engine noise and no you will not see a significant performance or mileage improvement. steviej
SKperformance Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 READ THE FAQ yes it is louder will only produce incerases with premium gas and a properly made system crap ones will decrease milage and power as well as cause carbon issues
SnesleyWipes Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 I was expecting, and am glad I recieved a reply from both of you. I guess I will pass on the intake and enjoy the smooth ride as it is. Thanx!!!
