mossballses
When the headlights are cut on at night all of the instruments in the car illuminate except for the radio. What can I do? Do I have to replace the whole radio or is there a fix? :(
bbsal
that could be a number of things.First check all the fuses and make sure they are all good.next if that dont work then it could be a wire behind the radio.pull it out and check and make sure there all connected.if none of that works then its probably the radio but i doubt it.i think its somewere in the fuse box. bbsal
if you need the wiring schematics for the radio let me know and i will get them for you this way you can trace the illumination wire down and see were the problems coming from.
lex
If its the radio fuse, the entire radio should not work, not just the lights. Did this problem just occur recently?
bbsal
i dont mean the radio fuse. i meant a different fuse that might be tied into the illumination.like i said i think its a wire somewere if not the fuse box.unless the radio did burn out but thats doubtful.
