nc211 Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 Any updates on this? Sorry Sweet, I missed this one. You posted it when I was on my honeymoon. My entire driveshaft was replaced by the dealership becuase the culprit turned out to be the center bearing area. The rear driveshaft at the center bearing section, the U joint, was binding up badly. It was not the couplings afterall. I now have new driveshaft and new oem couplings, and it has fixed the problem. This was most likely caused by years of the Off-Throttle-Shock problem from the faulty ecu. So many years of violent reverse torque when letting off the gas peddle, tore up the bearings in the center bearing section. The rear end no longer feels like it has a mind of it's own.
