chrispiss Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Hey I was just wondering if the taillight emblem is just adhered on with sticky stuff, or does it have prongs that go into the taillight to hold it in? I'd like to take it off and move it to the trunk, but not if there are prongs that would leave holes in the tails. On that note, is removing the tails an easy job or are they caulked and silicon sealed on? Or is it just a gasket and some bolts? Thanks!
vcv10guy Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 I don't believe you can just remove the emblem off the taillight. For example, when people wanted to convert their chrome emblems to gold, they had to buy the whole rear taillight with the gold emblem already on it. The taillights are just held on by some screws.
