I jack up my car and looked at the leak drip from the Powerstearing fitting area going into the back of the pump. When the pump leaks what area does it leak in. I still need to replace my starter so funds are tight. :cries:

It leaks a lot now and it lands on the heat shield of the alt.

Bye the way Merry Christmas.

You should address this soon. The PS fluid has a nasty habit of ruining the alternator then your blues will be a deeper shade of blue.

You need to rebuild your PS pump ASAP! If possible, don't even drive the car until it has been replaced/rebuilt.

or you could buy an already rebuilt pump and put it on. Although the rebuild instructions provided in Lexls tutorial are excellent, it may still be above what many will attempt (or have the time to do).

Either way you do not want your alternator damaged as they are very expensive. Someone described how to make a shield to cover the alternator but that is a lot of work to not correct the problem.
