lucdaica Posted December 23, 2004 Share Posted December 23, 2004 i Got 92 sc400, something is wrong with my car when i press on the accelerator, asked an expert and he told me to replace transmission mounts, and since most mounts need to be replace around 60,000 miles, my car is at 130,000, can any1 help on the location of the engine and transmission mounts? thank Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bean_8044 Posted December 23, 2004 Share Posted December 23, 2004 trans mounts are (about) directly underneath where the cup holder is. If you get the car in the air and look underneath you'll see where the driveshaft meets the transmission and right underneath that is the trans mount. Theres only one there and you cant miss it once youre looking at it. Its the only place where the transmission will connect to the body.
