Rx330 Nav Disk Update

Received my Nav disk update last week before a trip. Ver 3.1 mad a BU and installed it in the 330. One of the areas that had no coverage now has street maps. So far so good, have not noticed much of anything else change.

Anyone else notice much differenc?

I'm wondering why they sold you that version. My 2005 has version 4. Wouldn't that have worked in your model year and had more changes included?

By the way, love your sidestep pipes. Are they chrome or stainless steel? Could you share some info on them like brand and where you bought.? The local truck accessory place has none that are custom made for the Lexus 330.

Hello, side step tubes dealer installed, Chrome or stainless, I think Chrome. They are hard to keep shiny though. maybe wagg made them?

The Nav disk 4.1 I think, 3.1 was from 1 year ago.

2005 Model 330's have a new Nav system in it, so your version will not work in our 2004's!

The changes are totally contingent on your particular area...

How much did you pay for the Nav update? My dealer said $300, which is navigated hghway robbery. I'd like to look for an "alternate" source. It makes me mad.

Also, do updates also update points of interests like restaurants, gas stations, etc?

$288 from the deale listed ewell I think.
