White300 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Alright well I'm new here this will probally be my first time posting and starting a new thread. I live in a Houston, TX. I drive a 2002 GS300, clock reads 16XXX miles and is it normal if I'm doing 60 and my RPM is at 3000? I think its a little to high. Also I dont know that many things about my car. Is there anything I should look out for? Thanks...for yalls help.
hpapad01 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Check to make sure your transmission is set to D not M.
White300 Posted December 16, 2004 Author Posted December 16, 2004 Check to make sure your transmission is set to D not M. ← ya its in normal drive and not manual mode
TurboGS300 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 is overdrive on? I think 3000rpm's at 60 is pretty normal. I'll doublecheck mine abit later and let you know. <_<

TurboGS300 Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I checked on my car 2100rpm's equal 60mph with overdrive on. 3000rpm's with OD off. 3000rpm's is pretty high with no OD option, I wonder if somethings not shifting? Speed sensor maybe, or would that affect the speedo? <_<
