Kimmi
Does anybody have a suggestion what the problem with my SC400 /93 is. It was recently fixed at an auto shop where they changed one of the oxygen sensors. Here is the problem. The car has high CO = 0,9 and HC = 140 values. The traction light in the middle of the speedometer is on all the time. When the car is worm and I keep the motor running at 1500 rpm it goes down to 0 and dies when I release my foot from the gas pedal. This only happens when running the car from idle to 1500 and then releasing. I am also getting a diagnostic error code 25. I am almost suspecting that there is a problem with the traction control, and that it is giving wrong information to the EFI. Does anybody have a clue?? johnny3
Error code 25 is "Air-fuel ratio lean malfunction."
JDOwen2
I would suggest taking it back to where you had the work done but then again they may have created the new problem. Look for broken/disconnected vacuum lines first.
