Curious About Cd Players

Hi, i'm new here, my dad owns a 1991 Lexus ES250 and for christmas i was wanting to buy him an aftermarket cd player because all he has is a tape player in there right now. so i went to future shop the other day (like best buy) and they told me that there is no kit for fitting the cd player in so it would cost a lot of money for installation since it would have to be custom done. i was just wondering what u guys have done if you have an aftermarket cd player in your cars. thanks!

There's always the option of FM modulated CD changers; don't require any "kit" to install-plugs right into the antenna jack for your stock stereo, and only requires minimal electronic knowledge to get it hooked up. Plus, you can have multiple CD's (if you're into that). Depending on where you mount it, this can be a blessing (glovebox) or a sin (trunk)....
