jaspav Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 My 97 ES 300 is hard to start when it is warmed up and has been driven. It always starts fine when cold. Took it to the dealer, and they said it is the Idle Air Control Motor. They said it had to be replaced and couldnt be repaired. Can it be repaired? (I like to tear things apart) Can I buy a Used one, is there a place online that sells them for a reasonable price? They wanted $256 for it and $200 to install. Is this really the problem? Is there anything online that tells where and what the IACM is and how to replace it? Any experience with this and help would be greatly appreciated.
