94 Es300 Stereo Swap

I have a 94 ES-300 and the stereo comes on when it damn well pleases.

It's the premium sound with the cd changer controls on it.

Does anybody know what other Lexus years and models i can use to replace it?

92-93 are similar but 94-6 should be the exact same

what exactly does it do, turn off and on or just on?

I think the problem is the power button. My sister-in-law had the same problem with her 93 ES-300. You can punch the button and sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't. Mostly it doesnt. It seems to work better in warmer weather.

Id like to keep the unit OEM and was checking to see if something from a GS or LS will work.

forgot to add i changed every bulb in the head unit about 6 months before i removed it

I appreciate it, im not sure what a reasonable offer would be. I guess shipping costs would play a huge factor in that. any thoughts?

$130 for the head and $30 for shipping

since the bulbs along cost $8 a peice x i think it was 8

it would be ground and would also have to be insured
