Flat Spot In Tires

when i bought my ls, it had been sitting on the car lot for a couple of months. how can i tell if the tires have flat spots on them? i get a vibration at 70 and above. i had the tires balanced and the front-end aligned and it's better but i can still feel the vib in the steering and sometimes in the gas pedal.

A good tire shop should have a radial runout guage. They can turn the wheels on the car and measure if they are out of round. Could also be a bent wheel.
