Navigational Intro Screen

Is there anyway that one can disable that intro screen when one first cranks up the car on the navigational screen? It is SOO annoying to have to press the button that states that you understand not to use the navigational system while driving, etc.

Nope, no way to do it.

If the nav DVD door is open the message doesn't come up. You can probably simulate an open DVD door remotely using one of the newly available remotely controlled relays, say from Hella.

I don't use the one in my 01 RX300 very much, found it so unreliable as to be virtually useless, so I just leave the DVD door open most of the time.

Service replicated the same failures with new version in newer RX, service manager advised not to buy.
