MacDaddy68 Posted 5 hours ago Share Posted 5 hours ago Had my ES350 for less than 6 months. Twice the dashboard lit up with failure lights, this was due to metal in the oil. Flush and gush the first time. Removed the engine and replaced cam gears and chain on the 3.5l engine. the second time it went in. I was so surprised to see a Toyota product have such a failure. Toyota/Lexus has always ranked at or right next to the top of Consumer Reports Magazine's list of auto manufacturers that make the most to least reliable vehicles.
