Dark Horse Posted August 17 Share Posted August 17 Good morning All, Yesterday, I had my cracked windshield replaced on our 05 LS430. I was told to wait an hour before driving. I waited until today to use the car and do 4 errands. It's a sunny day here. While using the car, and the wipers on "AUTO", the wipers sweep for no reason randomly. Is there some type of "reset"? paulo57509 Posted September 9 Share Posted September 9 The rain sensor is attached to the inside of the windshield behind the rear view mirror. I doubt this will help, but I would try cleaning the outside of the windshield in front of the sensor. I would would go back to the windshield installer with your complaint.
