Dark Horse Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Good afternoon all, Within the past 4 months using the phone on my wife's 13 RX350 has all changed due to static and connectivity issues. We have never done a software update. Has anyone else had a problem like this? If so, what was the remedy please?
RX400h Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Quote Here are some potential solutions that might help: Re-pairing the Phone: Re-pairing your phone with your Lexus RX can be an effective solution for resolving persistent Bluetooth connectivity issues. This essentially establishes a fresh connection between your smartphone and the car, which can help to clear any underlying glitches or conflicts. Updating Device Software: Make sure that your device’s software is updated to the latest version available. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with the car’s Bluetooth system. Deleting and Reconnecting the Device: Delete your device from your vehicle by selecting ‘Settings’ (gear icon), ’Bluetooth & devices’, then select your device’s name and select ‘Forget’. After that, shut down and restart your device, and then pair your device with your vehicle again. Software Update: For vehicles prior to 2014, you will need to visit your Lexus dealer for multimedia updates. However, you can check if there is an available update for your vehicle on the Lexus Software website. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, I recommend contacting a Lexus service center or a professional mechanic for further assistance. They can diagnose the problem more accurately and suggest the most appropriate solution.
