Radio Code

I have a 91 ls400. I've done some work with the radio, and now it doesn't work. I need the security code to reactivate the radio. Is there any way to do this without going to the dealership? Its 90 miles away. I bought the car used. I have the owner's manual, but no code. Thanks.

i never personally done this... but i believe i read somewhere on this forum that the code is your vin number. :whistles:

But don't tell the thieves that ok

If you go through a couple of older posts or search for it, i'm sure you can pull it up.
