Mike Thibodeaux
I have a 2002 Lexus es300. Put battery in wrong. 120 amp fuse blew. I pull fuse out but cartridge came out but seem like blades are still in. I’m afraid to pull really hard. All the fuses I by are male. I don’t think there is a female. Should I pull harder . I hate to tear something up. Need advice
RX400h
I'm not sure if this description is perfectly accurate, but it may be worth a try/look: Quote Disconnect the Battery: Before you start, make sure to disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical shock or further damage1. Remove the Fuse Box: You may need to remove a few bolts that hold the fuse box to the body of the car, then flip the fuse box upside down to remove the bottom cover. Remove the Fuse: Reach into the fuse box to where the 120A fuse is and remove the 2 bolts. There might be additional bolts (possibly 8 and 10mm) hiding below holding the fuse in. Replace the Fuse: Replace the blown fuse with a new one. Make sure the new fuse is the correct type and rating for your car. Reassemble: After replacing the fuse, reassemble the fuse box and reconnect the batter
