Silverfinn
I noticed that my 2003 LS430 front wheels are very hot to the touch. Almost to the point of burning your hand and this is for normal around the town driving, no heavy breaking or any kind of brake abuse. I spoke to my Lexus Dealers Service Technician and was told that this is normal. Have any of you experienced this condition?.

99lsguy
That's why those lug nuts get pretty toasty if your changing a flat during a road trip Keep a pair of gloves in the trunk just for that......and a torque wrench
SW03ES
Yep, totally normal. Brakes generate massive amounts of heat and what you're feeling is that heat being transfered to the wheels.
