I figured this was an isolated event given it had been sitting in the heat/humidity/in a garage but then I also saw there was an extended warranty program for this from years ago. It looks like I wouldn't be eligible for the primary coverage but reading the fine print, it says that secondary coverage offers the warranty enhancement for 10 years from the date of first use of the vehicle, regardless of mileage. Since I am now the second owner of the vehicle would that make me eligible for this coverage or would I still need to pay out of pocket?
