2010 LS460 Touchscreen froze. help please

Hello All,

New to the form. Last week my touchscreen on 2010 LS460 froze. When I crank my car up, the climate control system shows, AC on, then I can see the buttons from low to high being illuminated as if a host was pushing them. Then the system freezes at that point. 

My dealer quoted me $3,200 for a replacement...OUCH! My questions are:

1) Is there a place where some can point in the direction to purchase a new touchscreen along with the "i think it's called a digitizer" computer part? My dealer informed me that they could put in a unit that I provided them for $379.00.

2) Is there any other way to fix this if I can't source an OME part at a reasonable price or what suggestions do you have as to where I can source one on the open market?
