Cutter
One of my factory rims is scratched up pretty bad (dont ask) Anyway where is the best place to get a replacement?
SW03ES
Check ebay, people sell Lexus wheels at good prices all the time on there.
steviej
this is simple. Your own trunk!!!!! Take the scratched up rim (assuming it still runs true and balanced) and make it your spare. The spare that is in you trunk is a matched rim and looks just like the other 4 on the car. If you are concerned about the uneven wear, go to a tire shop and have them swap the used tire to the unscratched rim and the unused spare to the scratched rim. Other than that, ebay or a junk yard. On line Lexus dealers sell them for about $300, more for the chrome. steviej
SW03ES
Excellent point, I hadn't even thought about that.
NeiLtYmE
what a nice feature. On the first gen's all we got was that black ugly wheel. At least they were the full size wheel though.
Cutter
Doh!! I just assumed the spare was a generic rim. Thanks all for the info.
LexusES99
You can also try getting your damaged rim refinished or repaired.
Lexusfreak
If the damaged rim is f.u.b.a.r. then another suggestion would be an auto wrecker or salvage yard. Excellent reminder btw steviej about the rim in the trunk!! ;)
