paulo57509 Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 I don't know where your dealership gets their parts but the solenoid has been discontinued for a while. You might have better luck getting the entire rack; I'd be more inclined to get a rebuilt/new unit than to get one from a bone yard. I can't speak to the quality, but rebuilt (new?) racks are available (example): https://www.detroitaxle.com/part/1997-lexus-ls400/rack-and-pinion/power-steering-rack-and-pinion/25393/ I don't like getting parts from ebay, but racks are there as well.
