Replacement Of 93 Es300 Stereo

I just bought a replacement stereo for my ES 300 '93 . I installed the stereo but there is no power in the system. I suspect that I need a code or something like that. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Thanks for the great directions on installing the stereo.

Re-check the install and make sure the power wire is not crimped or touching directly to metal. You may also want to check the aftermarket harrness you are using..
