Toyo Tires, I Know But...

Recommended Posts

I'm getting new tires next week and i've read the posts and I know that the Toyos Proxes TPT V rated are most popular ones but what about the size of the tire? I have stock rims with 205/65-15 on them but those 205 looks soo skinny and whimpy. Can I get some 225s without causing any rubbing? how bout sidewall height, do i have to go up or down on that? Would i hurt the handling or the comfort of the ride if i do go with a wider tire. Ive seen 215/60-15 and 225/60-15 at tirerack. Would these work on my stock rims? Any suggestions would be cool. thanks guys

E-mail Toyo USA to ask them which Proxes TPT's could you get on your ride to fit correctly in the 'V' speed rating. I've got 205 60 16's (factory size) on my 01 & they look great IMO.......I personally like to stick with the size Lexus has designed & built the car originally. ;)
