monarch Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 All kinds of seals, gaskets, tools and skills. It's not kids stuff that can be attempted without studying books like the factory repair manual. It's a major understaking.
timmay217 Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 haha yea i know i have someone who's been working and teaching cars for about 18 years now...as old as i am so he knows what he's doing i just need the list of what to buy that's it
steviej Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 call you local lexus dealer or contact online parts services. I suggest contacting www.irontoad.com or www.lexus-parts.com sometimes dealerships package all the parts needed into one bundle for one price. This includes all gaskets, belts, and whatnot. I have seen this done by many dealers for the big services (15k, 30k, 60k etc.). You might be able to find a "timing belt bundle" I have the 2002 ES Lexus shop manual, I could photocopy all the pages but it would be alot of photocopying. steviej
