Radio power cuts out - RX400h ML Audio w/Nav

We've got an 07 RX400 with Mark Levinson Audio and Nav that has developed some weird issues over the last couple years.

The power to the radio unit goes out for about one second every few minutes.... but only in the winter if the car has been outside. Just the audio, the Nav/HVAC abomination is fine. The little stereo LCD screen cuts out when the sound cuts out.

In the super-dry Seattle summers it works mostly fine.  Anyone ever seen something like this?  Seems like a moisture or condensation issue.

If it needs to be replaced, is it possible to "downgrade" to a non-nav HVAC from a junkyard and get real buttons? I'd then want to find some way to get a bluetooth audio input, maybe aftermarket stereo, maybe just an aux input.
