Switching Taillights

Recommended Posts

95 is a first generation, 98 is a second generation.

So, probably not.

I have heard that the 01 taillights fit a 97 but then that would be within the same generation.

When in doubt, ask a body shop that works on a lot of Lexi.

stevie's got it.

the two cars are of different generations, and the rear end is very different.

on the '92-'96, the trunk lid is just the top part.

but on the '97-'01, the trunk lid contains the top part and a cut through the middle of each tail lamp housing.

the tail lamp housings on the second gen are two pieces, while the first gen is only a one piece tail light.

if you really want it, it would have to be custom work
