i am thinking about getting a SC400. Found one for a good price with 107K on it. The car has ac ouple issues but everithing is fixable and not a big deal.

What kind of gas mileage should i expect to get from this car after i get all the tune up done (plugs, filters, oil etc.)

thanks

JUST BOUGHT MINE ABOUT A MONTH AGO. I HAVE 174000 MILES ON MY 93 SC AND I AVERAGE ABOUT 17 IN THE CITY AND 23 ON THE HIGHWAY. THAT IS "NORMAL DRIVING" NOW WHEN YOU DECIDE TO PUT YOUR FOOT IN IT YOU CAN ALMOST SEE THE GAS NEEDLE MOVE! BUT IT SO SO MUCH FUN AND WELL WORTH THE EXTRA TRIPS TO THE GAS STATION. IF GAS MILEAGE IS YOUR CONCERN, BUY A 4 CYLINDER AS AN EVERYDAY DRIVER.

I usually average 20-ish with mixed driving, but if you do any long-distance driving, your mileage will increase substantially. I got 26-28 MPG driving my car home to WA from TX.

My 1996 Sc400 gets between 23-24 mpg on mostly highway driving! I drive faster than normal (80-85 mph) but I always starting out slow.
