yahres
My RX300 outside temperature gauge is reporting temperatures that are consistently 5 - 10 degrees above actual. This happens even when car is parked in the shade and when it is being driven. Is there a way to check (and/or clean) the outside temperature sensor? jbarhorst2
Check to see if your temperature sensor is still in the proper location. The piece of plastic that connects it to the lower bumper broke on mine and as you are driving it sits against the radiator. This makes mine read high too. I am going to have it fixed on my next visit to the dealer.
wwest
I moved mine to the driver's side front bumper opening so it would not be radiant heated by the radiator nor A/C condensor.
Sark003
Normally the temp sensor would read high if the car is sitting still and not having air pass by it.
