Keisler Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 WHY DO I HAVE THE PROBLEMS THAT NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN? Have a probelm with lower control arms for the front end of a 92 sc400; was told by a friend mechanic that my control arm bushing that mounts to main chasis is worn and that is what is making a thumping noise when brake. Lexus wants 650.00 for 1 control arm assembly. Car has 185k miles. I'm thankful for any help.
jzz30 Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 its actually a common problem. i had it. and you can try call toyota and see how much a 93+ supra arm costs because its the same thing and i hear they sell it for cheaper.

Thanks. i dont remember because i had JPI in garland Tx do it, but ontop of the lcas i had oil leaks fixed and tranny and motor mounts replaced. i know it was cheaper than oem lcas by far though. just call up your local toyota dealership and ask for 95 supra lcas

I will probably have to inspect the wear of the rear bushings. In any case, would Supra rear arms fit my 95 SC400? The front lower is known to fit nice. And what year Supra arms should I get? Thanks/
