gco
I have a 99 gs 400, my driver side HID bulb seems to stop working. sometimes when I turn the lights on and off a few times it would come on. I feel the bulb needs replacing, what is the best bulb replacement do you recommend?
NT2SHBBY
best HID bulbs are stock Phillips. Best LOOKING bulbs are the Phillips Ultinons, because they emit a purplish hue similiar to that of the BMW projectors with HIDs. They are pricey, yes but worth it and you'd want a pair of them. Best pricing online comes from www.suvlights.com which is where I got mine They are $300 or so for the pair shipped, and suvlights is the ONLY authorized phillips vendor online to date good luck! gco
Thanks for the input I will look into it right away. The problem I have with the bulb is that sometimes while driving the passenger side HID bulb would just go out, after a while they would just come back on. I assumed this is a bad bulb, I hope and nothing electrical.
SW03ES
I don't know, I would expect the ballasts before the bulbs. HID bulbs last a really long time as they have no filament, they're supposed to outlive the car.
