1991LS400 Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Hey guys, Does anyone have or know where I can get an owner's repair manual (Vol. 1 & 2) for my 1991 LS 400? I don't even have the owner's manual itself. This stinks! Someone, please. Donations are welcome! Or just great advice... P.S. Also, someone told me that I should not use just any aftermarket brake fluid, transmission fluid, etc. They said to use only ATF. What is ATF...is that a type of fluid and can it ONLY be bought at the dealership or at any store? Cheers. Brian
blake918 Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Register at Lexus.com under the owners tab, and they will send you an owner's manual free of charge. ;) For the repair manuals, your best bet will be to comb ebay. If you want the real paper bound editions(non $20 CD), expect to pay north of $100. I paid about $150(ouch!) for a brand new set for my '95.
1UZ-FE Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 ATF=Automatic Transmission Fluid it would be best to stick with toyota brand fluids. buy them from a toyota dealer and not from a lexus dealer: cheaper price ;)
