soarer479 Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 ok a couple questions before i order my engine what year did they start making the vvti engine and whats the difference between that and the old style 2jz ... ive got a dilema im about to order my engine and i need an obd2 2jz but im not very familiar with the vvti which would i be better off with ? its hard as it is to find a obd2 2jz espcially if i dont want the vvti so any help would be very greatly appreciated
jzz30 Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 you wont find a non vvt-i obd 2 motor it started in 98. and you can only get a 98 supra motor if you want vvt-i or aristo motors from japan.
