Can I also have it leagal and have it pass smog? If anyone knows any sites or info on my project, pls let me know
soarer479
have u considered keeping your engine and putting a super charger on it they have some nice kits out now but i think it would be possible very hard but possible but honestly i dont think it would be worth it you would deffinatly be better off with a super charger kit in my opinion
intenseauto
My engine has almost 150,000 miles on it and i dont think that the internals would hold with a supercharger. On top of that, I would like to keep the car smog leagal. Im a smog tech and I know most of the parts that would not pass a visual inspection. I don't want any aftermarket parts that would alter the emission readings. I also dont want to "Clean Pipe" the car. Is'nt the sc300 an N/A Supra motor? AWJ
Search. It's your friend. Yes it is on your SC3 question. The answer to your first questions is most likely no. But it could be done.
Lex Luthor
have u considered keeping your engine and putting a super charger on it they have some nice kits out now I think he's considering this because there aren't. One company has a kit and modifications required to run it are unclear, plus they haven't shipped a kit yet, so nothing is currently available from anyone. You can do that swap intense, but be prepared for the long haul. Better off selling it and getting an SC3 to turbo or swap a tt drivetrain into.
