gav_logan Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 Hey guys, I had a service recently, in which it was pointed out that I need new rear suspension. Since then, I've started noticing that after I go over a medium sized bump, I can hear a second series vibrations... Just wondering, is not fixing this going to cause more damage? cheers :) - Gav
90LS400Lexus Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 If it is just noises, it may simply just be the bushings, but if there is extreme bouncing, the struts may be worn. Hopefully they are not as expensive as they was for my 93 Toyota Camry (same body/chassis as the ES300), because if I recall- they were like $150 EACH for new Toyota/Lexus brand struts. They were only $52 each for the factory Toyota rear struts on my 90 LS400. Strange.
