Rear Bumper Removal/mod Ideas

I just got my lexus in Dec. of 2003, its a 1998 GS300

Well, my car got rear ended in a parking lot, and now i need to get a new bumper. Im thinking of just getting a new kit and putting it on instead of the OEM part. I would like to do it myself, but I am having a bit of trouble figuring out how to remove the front and rear bumpers. Does anybody know how to do this?

Any ideas as to what i should do next? I was thinking about getting a header, but I would really like to get a new paintjob to make it black. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
