92ES300
I did not have anything else to use to pry off the vent, so I used the flat head. And yeah, when I first started prying, the vinyl was getting little dents in it, but then it just regained its form , and now there is no problems. Everything looks fine. The other tool is probably safer though.

lex
SK, are these the tools you talking about? Just the last one in that pic is all I need? http://www.kd-tools.com/61053.htm
lex
Turns out that the vent is actually really easy to take out. Instead of the prying from the sides. There are two plastic stoppers at the top of the vent about an inch from the sides. So if you just stick in a stiff shim/screwdriver and push them down, the vent slides right out. Found that out accidentally after trying the sides for a long time and no being able to get it out.
